6 Red Snooker C’ships 2018-India: Cancelled
According to media reports from India, the 7th 6 Red Snooker Championship 2018 which was to be held in Chandigarh, India from 23rd – 29th June 2018 stands cancelled /postponed.
PBSA – Pakistan Billiard Snooker Association confirmed that they had also received a letter from ACBS – Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports stating that the 7th Asian Team 6 Red Snooker C’ships 2018 which was to be held in Chandigarh, India has been postponed on request of BSFI – Billiards and Snookers Federation of India.
The main reasons given by BSFI are:
- The VIsa issuance delays by Indian Home ministry for some of the countries.
- Limited number of participate countries.
It maybe noted that Visa issuance from India even in other sports has been an ongoing problem from some of the countries, especially Pakistan.
