Novak Djokovic by winning the French Open 2021 title also claimed a 19th Grand Slam title. With this he became the first player in 52 years to have won all four majors twice.
The world number came from two sets down, defeated the 22 year old Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in an exciting close final 6-7 (6/8), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.
After this win Novak is one title short of equaling the all-time record of 20, held collectively by Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.
Novak presently has 84 career titles to his credit with also being on the edge of reaching US $150 million basket of prize money.
