Bangladesh’s Innings ⦁ Bangladesh started their batting powerplay with a bang and without losing a wicket, they scored 35 runs. ⦁ Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Naim laid a solid foundation for the away time, though the Pakistani blowing continued to restrict the batsmen to singles and doubles for most of the time. ⦁ Tamim Iqbal was the first big fish Pakistan was able to capture and he got out after scoring 39. Bangladesh lost the first wicket at the score of 71 runs. ⦁ Just like Tamim Iqbal, Litton Das too got runout and could just manage 12 off 13 bowls. Bangladesh were 98/2. Mohammad Naim was too struck by Shadab Khan and Bangladesh too lost their third wicket at the score of 98. He scored 43 off 41 bowls ⦁ Bangladesh crossed the hundred mark in 15 overs and were three down after that. ⦁ Mahmudullah walked in and kept the scoreboard ticking for the Bengals and stood his ground till the very end. ⦁ Wickets on the other end kept tumbling as the debutant Haris Rauf and Shaheen took one each ⦁ Bangladesh could not gather much of their twenty overs and were restricted for a measly target of 141 runs.
