The 9th ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is all set to take place from 1st June to 29th June, 2024, in United States of America and the West Indies. This the first time a cricketing event of this stature is being hosted in USA.
Pool To Final Stages of The T20I World Cup
20 teams including England the current T20 champions will compete. For the first stage have been divided into four groups, of five teams each. During the starter group stage, each team will play at least four matches against their other group members. After the group stage, the ‘Super 8’ stage will commence in which the top two teams from all groups will compete. In the ‘Super 8’ stage the teams will battle in two groups of four teams each for being among the top two teams of each ‘Super 8’ group to contest in the semi-final for becoming the finalists.
The final squad for each team submission date was 1st May 2024, and as per rules any squad changes can be made till 25th May, 2024.
