Cycling – Vuelta a Espana ’18 Stage 18: Jelle Wallays Wins
Jelle Wallays from Lotto-Soudal denied the sprinters triumph, and won from a three-man breakaway on Stage 18 of the Vuelta a España.
The Belgian went clear in the initial 3 kilometres of the race close by Sven Eryk Bytrom and Jetse Bol and hung on for a nail-biting win.
Cycling – Vuelta a Espana ’18 Stage 17: Michael Woods Wins
Wallays and Bytrom completed together with sprinters Peter Sagan and Elia Viviani failing to catch the pair. Simon Yates clutched his lead, with no adjustment in the general standings.
#LaVuelta18: Wow. What a finish. Just when we thought today was all but assured to be a sprint the break surprises. This Vuelta has been one of the best races of the season, huh?
Congrats to Jelle Wallays (LTS) on a brilliant win.
