Renowned Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara has added another feather in his cap by becoming the first-ever Pakistani to climb the Mont Blanc in the French Alps.
The 43-year-old climber managed to scale the 4,808 meters peak along with two other international mountaineers during a brief opening this weekend.
Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe and is considered to be the deadliest peak due to its tricky trek and unfavorable weather conditions in the region.
The Skardu born mountaineer has already secured his name in the history books by climbing the world’s eight highest mountains, all of which reside in Pakistan and Nepal.
Sadpara who hails from a humble background began his career as a porter but then went on to become a professional mountaineer gaining national and international fame.
The world-renowned Pakistani climber is planning to summit three of the world’s highest peaks i.e. Mount Everest, K2 and Nanga Parbat in the coming years in order to establish another world record of consecutive summits.
