European Championship Award & 10m Air Rifle Women Team Event: Russians Rule

The Russian Women team performance with quality skills was at its best. Result was winning of the Air Rifle Women Team Competition Gold Match. In Bronze category, the surprise was the Romanian defeating the rather better Austrian Team with the convincing score 17-5.

The Gold Match was the competitiveduel between the teams of Italy and Russian Federation. Excellent shooting skills were displayed by both the teams, however, the final outcome went in favour of Russian Federation who collected the main award – European Championship. The title was not easy to win both teams performed in an excellent manner. The final score was Russian team 17 and Italy 13. In the bronze match, the Romanian team won by beating the Austrian team with a commanding result 17-5. This was an unexpected win of the Romanians.

Next Championship in Hungary The present championship were declared closed by the Technical Delegate, Mrs. Ghislaine Briez. And the European Shooting Confederation Flag was also handed over to the representatives of the Hungarian Shooting Sport Federation which will be organizing the next European Championship – Running Target European Championship.

The competition Manager ZoranĆelić thanked all participants, all volunteers, Organizing Committee members and sponsors who helped to organize a successful championship. And welcomed them again to Osijek and Croatia. In her speech Mrs. Briez thanked Organizing Committee and the Competition Manager Zoran Ćelić who has organized an excellent Championship. In the end of speech she declared the 10m 2019 European Championship closed.
