During the Week 18 of the Bundesliga, the main highlights were:
- The most watched game was between Bayern and Hertha Berlin where Bayern continued their four-game winning streak and thrashed Hertha 4-0. It too climbed to the second place as well. Bayern are well back in the competition.
- Dortmund came back, thanks to a return hat-trick by Erling Haaland leading Dortmund beating Augsburg by 5-3.
- Bayer Leverkusen thumped Paderborn Mainz 4-1 and are finally on the winning ways RB Leipzig continued its incredible run and retained its first spot by beating Union Berlin 3-1. They are well ahead on the points table.
- Eintracht and SC Freiburg both won 2-1 against Mainz and Hoffenheim respectively.
- FC Koln made things terrible for Wolfsburg and got a prized scalp by beating them 3-1.
- This is FC Koln’s fourth consecutive win.
- On the other hand, Fortuna pipped Werder 1-0 while FC Schalke too undid Monchengladbach by 2-0 to finally win a game after drawing its last.

- RB Leipzig retain their top spot by continuing their winning streak. They are clear by 4 points.
- Bayern Munich took a huge stride to the third spot.
- FC Bayern climbed to the second spot after being back to the winning ways. They are now 1 point clear of the third place.
- Monchengladbach fall a spot and are at the third place now with 35 points.
- Borussia Dortmund and Schalke maintain their 4 th and 5 th spot respectively and are not much behind in the race now.
- Bayer Leverkusen too maintains its 6 th place while Wolfsburg too remains 9 th after being upset by FC Koln
