The Week 20 featured Bayern Munich getting back on the top spot and Dortmund continuing to score tons of goals in each game. Allsportspk presents the main highlights of the week 20:
- The most watched game was between Bayern Munich vs Mainz 05. Bayern thrashed Mainz 05 3-1 to not only clinch an important win but also the top spot as well. The top spot was occupied by RB Leipzig. Thiago Alcantra of Bayern also picked the Man of the Matchday award as well.
- RB Leipzig lost their first spot after drawing with the 10-men Monchengladbach. They are now on the second spot. It was still great for Leipzig since they managed to draw the game despite being 0-2 down.
- Borussia Dortmund continued their fiery goal scoring spirit as they pulverized Union Berlin 5-0. They have finally started finding their way back into the League.
- FC Wolfsburg too beat Paderborn 4-2 and are still a long way to go to make it into the top four at least.
- Hoffenheim upset Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 while Augsburg too pipped Werder 1-0.
Week 25 – Points Table
Points Table Overview
- The main highlight of the points table remains to be Bayern’s comeback to the 1st place. Bayern are now a point clear of the first spot.
- RB Leipzig drop to the second spot after a tie in their last game.
- Borussia Dortmund climb to the third spot after a thumping win over Union Berlin. Their goal difference has improved a lot too lately.
- Bayer Leverkusen retain their fifth spot while Schalke are on sixth.
- There is still a long way to go for FC Wolfsburg as they are on ninth now and need to pull off blinders to make it to the top four.
