The WJUT Wuhan Jianghan University Team won the title of the Women’s Super League 2020. Wuhan defeated Jiangsu Suning Team for their first ever title of the event held in Kunming, China.
Chawinga, Beatriz Zaneratto and Lv Yueyun scored one goal each for Wuhan while Zhai Qingwei of Suning by mistake netted a ball giving another goals’ advantage to Wuhan.
The final score was Wuhan 4 – 0 Suning.
The captain of Wuhan team – Wang Shuang dedicated the trophy to supporters and healthcare workers who made exceptional contributions to the city’s coronavirus fight.
