The famous Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy has joined the Chines football club Shanghai SIPG, which has been unbeaten during the Chinese Super League 2020.
The 29 years old Mooy was previously playing for the Brighton Football Club of England. He scored two goals for his club to elevate its ranking in English League. During his tenure Brighton scored the highest points in its history in English League.
His deal with the club was set to expire during June 2023. But the Chinese club SIPG has activated a pre-existing clause in contract between Mooy and Brighton that allowed him to join a another club for a set fee.
Mooy also plays for the Australian National Team and participated in FIFA World Cup 2018 held in Russia.
