2023-24 season of the European Football Leagues kicked off with Matchday 1 matches being played of the three major European leagues – Ligue 1, La Liga and EPL-English Premier League. Allsportpk presents the latest update as of 14th August.

Ligue 1–Matchday 01 of 34

6 results and 3 draws in the matches were completed in the Matchday 1 of France’s top league. There were surely some upsets as current champions PSG played a goal-less draw with Lorient and last season’s runner up Lens lost to Brest. New entrant Le Harve did well to draw their first game with Montpellier and another promoted club Metz was soundly beaten by Rennes.
