Lionel Messi crossed Pele’s record of scoring the most goals for a single club. This feat was achieved when Barcelona won in a 3-0 La Liga win at Real Valladolid.
Messi netted his 644th goal for Barcelona, which is one goal more than Brazil’s legendary foorballer Pele scored for the Santos club.
Messi set the new record in the 65th minute of match against Real Valladolid. He scored the memorable record goal with a classic easy finish after dashing through to collect an artistic backheeled assist of Pedri.
