The controversial online game PUBG-PlayersUnknown’s Battlegrounds after facing bans in other countries is about to face ban request from Police of Punjab province in Pakistan.
Following recent incidents of teenager suicide in city of Lahore, Mr. Ashfaq Khan, Deputy Inspector General – Operations Wing of Police Lahore, has announced that it has been decided that FIA – Federal Investigation Agency and PTA – Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, will be requested to ban the popular PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
During May, the LHC-Lahore High Court had already passed a judgement and ordered ban of PUBG due to the affect the game was having on the children both educationally and psychologically.
