The WESPAC Championship and the WTSC-World Team Scrabble Championship will be held in Accra, Ghana from the 7th-16th November 2025. This was announced by Scrabble Association of Ghana and the MindGames Incorporated.
The 9-day Scrabble fiesta will be held as per the following schedule:
WTSC-The World Team Scrabble Championship on Saturday the 8th of November 2025 and conclude on Monday, 10th November 2025. It will be a team event played in a group format, and the top teams will proceed to the knock-out stages.

The organizers explained that the Member associations of WESPA will receive communication from WTSC organizers inviting them to register for this historic event.
Concurrently, the Akwaaba (Early Bird) tournament, a 10-round 1-day event, will run with the games on the final day of the WTSC i.e. 10th November 2025. All players can take part in the Akwaaba event, including those from teams that have dropped out of the WTSC.
The LCQ-Last Chance Qualifier will be played on Tuesday, 11th November 2025. This event is for players who have not qualified to represent their country at WESPAC. They will have the opportunity to participate in the main WESPAC event by finishing in the upper 20% of the field.
The WESPAC Main event will commence on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, and end on Saturday, 16th November 2025. 32 games will be played to determine the players that will play in the finals. The best of 7 games final will hold on Sunday, 16th November 2025.
The Sika (Gold) 16-game tournament, Sankofa (Invictus) 8-game tournament, and the Adinkra (Hearts) 8-game tournament will all run side-by-side with WESPAC. Players who do not qualify to represent their countries are invited to participate at these side events.
