The 30-year-old Xander Schauffele shot a remarkable 65 to emerge as the winner of the 152nd Open Championship held in Troon, Scotland.
Schauffele played a bogey-free round to have a final score of 9-under-par 275 and a two-shot victory over Justin Rose and Billy Horschel.

With this title performace, Schauffele becomes the first player to win multiple majors in a calendar year after Brooks Koepka in 2018. Sine 1982, he also completed the first American sweep of the four majors since 1982.
