Hissam Ali Hyder has proudly once again taken Pakistan to the 2018 edition of the prestigious Snow Polo World Cup, to be held in the world famous resort of St. Moritz, Switzerland from 26 – 28 January 2018.
Hissam presently handicapped at 6 is the highest handicap player of Pakistan and among the highest in Asia and also this tournament. Playing since few years in the International and Pakistan Polo circuit, he has won this prestigious St. Moritz World Cup in 2014 as member of the Cartier Team.
In 2018, Hissam is playing as a member of Team Maserati. His teammates will include Gerardo Mazzini, Robert Strom, and one of Zhanna Bandurko or Raya Sidorenko. The teams and the respective members are:

St. Moritz has hosted this historic snow polo tournament since 1985. Polo has been played for more than 2600 years on grass. Thus, being the first-ever snow polo tournament, the Snow Polo World Cup at St. Moritz has its uniqueness of being the only polo tournament played on snow. The challenge of playing on snow, the unique location at 1850 metres above sea level and the sophistication of St. Moritz combine to make the tournament one of its kind. The scenic venue is second to none and is home to a special atmosphere. Anyone lucky enough to attend the tournament is not only treated to wonderful sport but can also attend exuberant social events and enjoy the sumptuous food on offer at the classy restaurants in the resort.
