Hundal’s exceptional finishing and composure under pressure were pivotal in India’s win, marking him as the standout performer of the game. The victory solidifies India’s dominance in junior hockey, extending their record as the most successful team in the tournament’s history.
In the bronze medal match, Malaysia defeated South Korea 3-2 in a closely contested encounter. Malaysia’s Muhammad Zainudin scored the winning goal in the 55th minute, securing a podium finish for his team.
