PESHAWAR: In the ongoing National Amateur Golf Championship of Pakistan, being played at the Peshawar Golf Course, the Inter Association Team Match between the teams from all provinces (Sindh, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, F
The Punjab Team comprising of Ashiq Hussain, Ahmed Baig, M.Rehman and M.Saqib achieved victory by compiling a team score of 656 and emerged as the best Provincial Team of Pakistan. On the last day, those who produced outstanding scores were Ashiq Hussain- gross 70, Ahmed Baig – gross 73, M.Rehman – gross 73 and M.Saqib – gross 72. In their quest for honours Punjab team beat the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Team by a margin of eighteen strokes. Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa team was the runner up with a team aggregate score of 674 and their playing members were Inayatullah Yousafzai, Khushal Khan, Taimur Khan and Abdul Qayum.
The Punjab Ladies Teams also annexed the Ladies title. The Ladies team comprised of Suneyah Osama, Rimsha Ijaz and Parkha Ijaz.
