Highlights:
- The Red Devils continued their poor run, as they lost yet another match of International Champions Cup to Liverpool by a margin of 3 goals.
- Some decent play was witnessed by Liverpool in the first half.
- Decent chances were taken but the opportunity for the reds, only came when Demetri Mitchell made a clumsy tackle on Salah in the penalty area box.
- This resulted in a penalty for Liverpool. Sadio Mane took it and put Liverpool in the lead.

- However, 3 minutes later, Andreas Pereira made the most of a free kick as he scored from 25 yards to level the scoreboard.

- After this point, the flow of the game continued to be on Liverpool’s side, however no goals were scored in the 1st half as the referee blew the half time’s whistle.
- In the 2nd half, Liverpool restored their lead as Daniel Sturridge made full use of Xherdan Shaqiri’s assist to score the 2nd goal for Liverpool.

- After that, a wrong penalty decision gave Ojo a chance to score a goal, which he did and took Liverpool’s lead to 3-1.
- The match came in its dying moments, and this is when Liverpool’s new recruit, Xherdan Shaqiri scored his first goal of the match, as the match finished on 4-1.

Liverpool fans are looking forward to every game, excited. City same. Chelsea may be similar and their manager is now fun and Spurs are obviously massively optimistic with Poch. Then you get to United and Mourinho. We fade to grey.

- During 1st half, it was Bayern Munich who exerted their superiority as Meritan Shabani scored an early first goal for his club.

- Following this, the senior scorer for Bayern, Arjen Robben stepped up to the occasion as he converted a pass from Franck Ribery to double the lead.
- In reply, Manchester City only struck one goal, which was scored by Bernardo Silva who made a clean strike in 1st halve’s injury time to make it 1-2.

- 6 minutes into the 2nd half, the 19 year old, Lukas Nmecha emerged on the scene by scoring successfully and equalizing the scoreboard.
- The scores remained level until the 70th minute, when Bernardo Silva struck his 2nd goal to put Manchester City in the lead.
- Unlike the 1st half, the German club could not score a single goal in the 2nd half, thus eventually losing the match by 3-2.
