Highlights:
- It was a match between two strong batting line-ups at the Chinnaswamy stadium as RCB and CSK locked horns. CSK won the toss and chose to bowl first. However, RCB batsmen did not mind at all as they displayed absolute carnage on the ground.
- Quinton De Kock and ABD lead from the front as they provided a solid foundation for their team.This amazing start was cashed on by Mandeep Singh. And after that the lower middle order also put in their cameos as RCB put 205 on the scoreboard.
- It was CSK’s turn and having chased 200+ totals several times in the IPL they were feeling pretty confident about this.
- CSK’s openers started off well but RCB’s timely wickets kept them in the match.
- However, the match was taken away by M.S Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu as both batsmen took the match away from RCB.
- In the end, it all came down to CSK vs RCB’s death overs skills.
- However, it was CSK who dominated this battle as RCB bowlers could not defend 205 on this ground.
- With this win CSK cemented their spot at the top of the IPL points table.
