Highlights:
· RCB needed to find form and win this match against CSK who were having a dominant IPL so far.
· Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first. RCB batsman Parthiv Patel was finally given a chance an opener and he cashed on it by scoring a fifty.
· But, apart from him CSK bowlers tore through the top and middle order of RCB’s batting line-up.
· CSK spinners Jadeja and H Singh were phenomenal today as they shared five wickets between them to dismantle RCB.
· If it was not for Tim Southee’s cameo of 36 runs in the end, then RCB would not have been able to cross hundred runs.
· However, the fast bowler showed great composure as he remained unbeaten to take RCB to a total of 127 runs in 20 overs.
· This total was nothing in front of a strong Chennai batting line-up as they chased it down with ease.
· Although, RCB took wickets as their prized bowler Umesh Yadav provided them with crucial wickets. However, Chennai batsmen were adamant in their approach as the match was over in the 18th over.
· Dhoni and Bravo were unbeaten till the end as they helped Chennai to add another win in their tally.
· RCB’s dropped catches and horror batting show were the reasons as to why RCB lost this match.
· Also, after losing this match RCB are now faced with a critical condition as they now have to win every match from here on if they want to make it to the play-offs.

Highlights:
· Delhi Daredevils were faced with the same dilemma that RCB faced i.e. they needed win this match very badly in order to make it to the play-offs.
· However, they faced the strongest bowling attacks in this IPL i.e. Sunrisers Hyderabad.
· So, Delhi won the toss and elected to bat first hoping to score a big total. However, SRH bowling line-up proved too strong for Delhi as they could only manage to score a below par total of 163 runs.
· The first half of Delhi’s innings was extremely good as they were definitely looking to score 200+ runs in their innings. But SRH dominated in the 2nd part of their innings to restrict Delhi batsmen to 163.
· Apart from PP Shaw, SS Iyer and Vijay Shankar no Delhi batsman was able to step up his game.
· Rashid Khan was phenomenal once again as he led SRH bowling attack from the front to collect two key wickets of RR Pant and PP Shaw to restrict Delhi.
· It was SRH turn to bat and despite giving it all on the field, Delhi could not get an early wicket as SRH openers Hales and Dhawan shared a solid partnership of 76 runs.
· However, it was a slow pitch and Delhi bowlers made full use of it to take two more wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Manish Pandey.
· After these wickets fell, the momentum now favored Delhi. And, the daredevils could have sealed the game if they had gotten the wicket of Yusuf Pathan but he was dropped on zero runs.
· This catch alone, cost Delhi this match as Yusuf Pathan struck two boundaries in the last over, followed by Kane Williamson’s single to seal the win for SRH.
· After this win, SRH moved back to the top of the table while lost their 7th match this season to remain at the 7th place in the table.
