ITF Pakistan World Jr. Ranking Tennis C’ship 2019: Qualifying Round Starts 16th Feb.
ISLAMABAD: The ITF Pakistan World Junior Ranking Tennis Championship 2019, is all set to commence from 16th February 2019.
The Sing-in for the Qualifying event was held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, today on 15th February (Friday) at S. Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue, Islamabad.
As per the procedure, all the participating players and on-site alternate personally sign-in with the Referee.
The qualifying matches will be played on 16th February (Saturday) and 17th February (Sunday), whereas the Main Draw will start on Monday 18th February .
International players from 16 Countries USA, Hong Kong, Turkey, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Korea, Germany, Kazakhstan, France, Russia, Philippines, Malaysia and Pakistan will confirm their participation.
To give final touches to the arrangements a meeting of Organizing Committee was held in which the following were present: Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas, Patron Pakistan Tennis Federation and Islamabad Tennis Association, Honorary. Life Time Sr. Vice President Asian Tennis Federation, Tournament Director, Muhammad Khalil Chughtai, ITF Supervisor Muhammad Arif Qureshi, and Event Organizer Mr. Ahsan Raza Zaidi.
This tournament is being partially sponsored by Fauji Fertilizer Company, Amerli Steel, Gerry Group, Priority Group and Shezan Bakers & Confectioners.
