The final between Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel and FG/Din Polo remained very enthralling and exciting. Diamond Paints/Sheikho Steel team took the lead in the first two chukkers but FG/Din Polo team bounced back strongly in the third and fourth chukkers and turned the tables to emerge as the winners of the final by 6-3.

Tomas Marin Moreno was the hero of the final as he did magic with mallet and polo pony and fired in fabulous five goals from the winning side. The remaining one was converted successfully by Shaikh Muhammad Raffy. Manuel Carranza, who replaced Nicolas, thrashed in all the three goals from Diamond Pants/Sheikhoo Steel. Jhon Fisher and Amirreza Behboudi supervised the main final as field umpires.
Subsidiary Final
Earlier, the subsidiary final proved a nail-biting encounter, where Remington Pharma beat Master Pants Black by 7-6. The match remained a see-saw battle and the score was equal in the fourth and last chukker. Just before the end of the final chukker, Basel Faisal Khokhar smashed in the match-winning goal to guide his side to a victory.
Lahore Open Polo Championship 2018: Jubilee Annexes Title
Hamza Mawaz Khan emerged as hero of the match as he hammered fabulous five goals while Bilal Noon and Basel Faisal Khokhar struck one goals apiece. From the losing side, Manuel Carranza slammed in five goals while Sufi Muhammad Amir scored one goal. Jhon Fisher and Amirreza Behboudi officiated the subsidiary final as field umpires.

Day 11 | Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel Vs FG/Din Polo To Clash For Final
Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel and FG/Din Polo qualified for the main final of the Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 at the Lahore Polo Club.
The main final will be played on Sunday; 25th December between Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel and FG/Din Polo at 3:00 pm. While the subsidiary final will be contested between Master Paints Black and Remington Pharma at 1:30 pm.
Manuel Carranza’s superb seven goals steered Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel to outclass Salam Polo by a good margin of 10-4 in the first semifinal. Nicolas Antinori, the foreign player of Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel, got injured at the end of the first round and was replaced by Manuel Carranza, who remained instrumental throughout the next three rounds.
Carranza emerged as top scorer with a classic contribution of seven goals while his teammates Nicolas Antinori, Mir Huzaifa Ahmed and Omar Asjad Malhi scored one goal each from the winning side. Nicolas Ruiz Guinazu and Hamza Ali Hakeem banged in a brace for Salam Polo.
Tomas Marin Moreni fired in fabulous five goals in FG/Din Polo’s convincing 7-5 triumph over Diamond Paints in the second semifinal of the day. Moreno was top scorer from the winning side with a contribution of five goals while his teammates Shah Shamyl Alam and Mian Abbas Mukhtar converted one goal apiece. Omer Minhas cracked a quartet and Mir Shoaib Ahmed struck one goal for Diamond Paints.
Day 10 | Semi Finalist Decided; Clash On Friday
The semifinalists have been decided in the Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 at the LPC-Lahore Polo Club.

On Friday, 23rd December the first semifinal will be contested between Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel and Salam Polo at 2:00 pm while FG/Din Polo will compete against Diamond Paints in the second semifinal at 3:00 pm.

Day 10 | Match 1
Hamza Mawaz Khan’s heroics helped Remington Pharma edge past Remounts 5-4 in the first match of the day. Hamza cracked a classic quartet. He was ably supported by Ahmed Bilal Riaz, who scored the remaining one goal. Raja Temur Nadeem converted two goals and Shahid Imran and Haseeb Minhas struck one goal each for Remounts.
Remounts started the match on a high note as they thrashed in two back-to-back field goals to gain a 2-0 lead. Remington Pharma then made their presence felt by converting a 30-yard penalty to make it 2-1. They played aggressive polo in the second chukker and hammered an impressive hat-trick to take a 4-2 lead.
The third chukker saw both the teams playing well and scoring one goal apiece with Remington Pharma still enjoying a 5-3 lead. Remounts played better polo and in the fourth and last chukker and slammed in a goal, but it was too little too late as Remington Pharma won the encounter by 5-4.

Day 10 | Match 2
Tomas Marin Moreno fired in five goals in FG/Din Polo’s fabulous 7-4 goal triumph over Platinum Homes in the second match of the day. Shaikh Muhammad Raffay also played well for the winning side by banging in a brace. For Platinum Homes, Amirreza Behboudi hammered a hat-trick and Agha Musa struck one goal.
Platinum Homes began the match with a field goal, taking a 1-0 lead, which couldn’t last long as FG/Din Polo bounced back well by banging in a brace of goals to gain a 2-1 lead. Both sides scored one goal each in the second chukker with FG/Din still having a 3-2 lead.
FG/Din Polo then showed their class and played better polo in the third chukker, converting three goals against one by Platinum Homes to further enhance their lead to 6-3. The fourth and last chukker was evenly poised, where both the teams struck one goal apiece, thus FG/Din Polo emerging as victorious by 7-4.

Day 9 | Three Matches Decided; Antinori Hammers Hat- trick
Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel, Guard Rice and Diamond Paints emerged as winners in the Coca-Cola Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 at the LPC-Lahore Polo Club.

Nicolas Antinori hammered an impressive hat-trick in the Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel’s thrilling 7-6 triumph over Salam Polo in the first match of the day. Besides the heroics of Nicolas Antinori, Mir Huzaifa Ahmed (two goals), Usman Aziz Anwar and Umar Malhi (one goal each) also made a good contribution from the winning side.

Tremendous teamwork and combined efforts guided Guard Rice to a superb 7-4 success over Zacky Farms/Kalabagh in the second match of the day. Muhammad Ali Malik (with a contribution of three goals) was the hero of the match. Taimur Ali Malik and Saqib Khan Khakwani, pumped in two goals each from the winning team. Nazar Dean Ali Khan and Raja Jalal Arslan though played well for Zacky Farms/Kalabagh by contributing two goals each, yet their efforts could not yield fruit.

Phenomenal Ahmed Ali Tiwana excelled in Diamond Paints’ 8-5 emphatic victory over Newage Cables/Master Paints in the last match of the day. The major contribution from the winning side was Ahmed Ali Tiwana’s fabulous four-goal contribution, which was skillfully supported by his teammates Lt Col Omer Minhas (R) and Hamza Ejaz’s contributions of two-goal each.
On the other hand, Juan Cruz Greguol played equally well for the losing side by firing in four fantastic goals while his teammate Sufi Mohammad Farooq contributed with one goal, but their efforts remained fruitless, as their team faced 5-8 defeat at the hands of Diamond Paints. Master Paints Black and Remington Pharma recorded contrasting victories in Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 matches played at the LPC-Lahore Polo Club.

Majestic Manuel Carranza cracked a double hat-trick to guide Master Paints Black to a sparkling 10-6 success over Barry’s/DS Polo.
Besides a superb six-goal contribution from the hero of the day Carranza, Syed Aun Mohammed Rizvi scored in two goals, while Sufi Muhammad Haroon and Sufi Muhammad Amir converted one goal apiece from the winning side. On the other hand, Rulo Trotz played well for the losing team and contributed with an impressive hat-trick while Nafees Barry and Daniyal Sheikh slammed in two and one goal respectively.
Lahore Open Polo Championship 2018: FG Team Wins
Barry’s/DS Polo started the match with a field goal but Master Paints Black made a strong comeback and thrashed in three back-to-back goals to take 3-1 lead by the end of the first chukker. The second chukker was evenly poised as both the teams banged in a brace each with Master Paints Black still enjoying 5-3 lead.
The third chukker saw the dominance of the Master Paints Black, who malleted three back-to-back goals against one by Barry’s/DS to stretch their lead to 8-4. The fourth and last chukker saw both the sides playing well and converting two goals each and by the end of the chukker, Master Paints had 10-6 lead, thus emerging as winners of the match.

Day 8 | Match 2
Hamza Mawaz Khan’s heroics helped Remington Pharma edge out Platinum Homes by 8-7 in the thrilling second match of the day. The enthralling encounter was tied 7-7 at the end of fourth round, so it was decided in the sudden death chukker, where Ahmed Bilal Riaz smashed in the match-winning goal for Remington Pharma.
High-flying Hamza was in sublime form, and he played excellent polo and fired in with fabulous five goals while Ahmed Zubair Butt thrashed in two tremendous goals and Ahmed Bilal Riaz scored one goal for Remington Pharma.
Amirreza Behboudi of Iran was also in great form and displayed outstanding pony and mallet work. He skillfully converted superb six goals for Platinum Homes while Bilal Noon slammed in the remaining one but their efforts could not bear the fruits for their side, which lost the crucial match by a margin of just one goal in the sudden death chukker.
Lahore Open Polo Championship 2018: Day 5
Both the teams started the match on a high note and converted one goal apiece to make it 1-1. Just before the end of the first chukker, Remington Pharma converted one more to take a slight 2-1 lead. One goal each was score by both the sides to make it 3-2 in the second chukker while Platinum Homes played better polo in the third chukker, scoring two goals against one by Remington Pharma to equalize the score at 4-4.
Both the teams matched fire-with-fire in the highly-charged fourth chukker and managed to pump in three goals each to make it 7-7. No more goal was then scored by either team, thus the match was then decided in the sudden death chukker, where Ahmed Bilal Riaz was the man, who did magic with mallet and pony and hammered the match-winning goal for Remington Pharma, that won the crucial encounter by 8-7.

Salam Polo and Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel registered victories in the Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022, played at the Lahore Polo Club ground.

Sensational Nocolas Ruiz Guinazu steered Salam Polo to an emphatic 8-4 victory over Zacky Farms/Kalabagh in the first match of the day. Guinazu played the hero’s role from Salam Polo by smashing in superb five goals while he was ably assisted by Hashim Kamal Agha, Raja Arslan Najeeb and Hamza Ali Hakeem – all converted one goal apiece. On the other hand, Raja Jalal Arsalan fired in all the four goals for Zacky Farms/Kalabagh.
Team Salam Polo dominated the match right from the word go as they cracked a classic quartet in the first chukker against one goal by Zacky Farms/Kalabagh to gain a healthy 4-1 lead. The second chukker was evenly poised as both the sides scored one goal apiece with Salam Polo still enjoying 5-2 lead. The third chukker was fully dominated by Salam Polo team as they banged in a superb brace to further enhance their lead to 7-2 while in the fourth and last chukker, Salam Polo though struck one goal to further stretch their lead to 8-2 yet Zacky Farms/Kalabagh played better polo and thrashed in two back-to-back goals but it proved too little too late for them, as they lost the crucial match by 4-8.

Nicolas Antinori excelled in Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel’s 8-6 triumph over Guard Rice in the second match of the day. Antinori stole the show from the winning side by displaying excellent mallet and pony skills and firing in five fantastic goals while his teammates Omar Asjad Malhi banged in a beautiful brace and Mir Huzaifa Ahmed struck one goal.
On the other hand, Taimur Ali Malik hammered a hat-trick while Saqib Khan Khakwani, Shaukat Ali Malik and Muhammad Ali Malik converted one goal apiece from Team Guard Rice. Diamond Paints/Sheikhoo Steel were off to a flying start as they thrashed in three back-to-back goals to take 3-1 lead in the first chukker. Guard Rice made a good comeback in the second chukker, as they also hammered an impressive hat-trick to equalize the score at 3-3. Day 5 | Moreno Goal Barrages Lead Team To Victory
Marvelous mallet and polo pony work of Tomas Marin Moreno guided FG/Din Polo to a thumping 12-5 triumph over Remounts in the Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 only match played on Saturday at Lahore Polo Club ground.
Moreno was in sublime form and played excellent polo, smashing in superb seven goals from the winning side while Raffay Shaikh and Shah Shamyl Alam banged in a brace each and Mian Abbas Mukhtar converted one goal. From team Remounts, Raja Temur Nadeem hammered a hat-trick while Sawar Naeem and Haseeb Minhas struck one goal apiece.
2010 Lahore Open Polo C’ship: Day 5 Stars-Raja Sami & Evan Power Score 10…
Both the teams started the match well and matched fire-with-fire, equalizing the score at 2-2. Just before the end of the first chukker, Moreno successfully converted a 60-yard penalty to provide FG/Din a slight 3-2 lead. They dominated the second chukker fully by smashing in superb six goals to take a healthy 9-2 lead.
The third chukker was evenly poised as both the teams played superb polo and slammed in two goals each, with FG/Din Polo still enjoying 11-4 lead. The fourth and last chukker saw both the teams trying their best to score more but they could add just one goal each in their tally, thus FG/Din Polo emerging as winners with a margin of 12-5.

Day 4 | Newage Cables/MP & MP Black Triumphant
In the fourth day play, Newage Cables/Master Paints and Master Paints Black emerged triumphant in the Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 matches at the LPC-Lahore Polo Club. On Sunday, 18th December, three matches will be played.
Day 4 | Match 1
Juan Cruz Greguol shone in the first match of the day as he hammered a double hat-trick in Newage Cables/Master Paints’ convincing 9-3 victory over Barry’s /DS Polo. Besides Juan Cruz Greguol’s heroics, Farooq Amin Sufi contributed with a beautiful brace and Adnan Jalil Azam converted one goal. Rulo Trotz thrashed in two goals and Usman Haye struck one for Barry’s/DS Polo.
2021 Lahore Open Polo Championship: Day 4; Andres & Huzaifa’s Xtraordinary Play
Newage Cables/Master Paints were off to a flying start as they cracked a classic quartet of goals to gain a 4-0 lead in the first chukker. Barry’s/DS Polo made a good comeback in the second chukker by banging in a brace to reduce the margin to 4-2. The third chukker was once again dominated by Newage/Master Paints as they hammered an impressive hat-trick to further enhance their lead to 7-2.
Barry’s/DS Polo started the fourth and last chukker well by converting a 30-yard penalty successfully that helped them reduce the margin to 7-3 but it was all that they could get from the match as Newage/Master Paints thrashed in two more goals to win the match by a huge margin of 9-3.

Day 4 | Match 2
Manuel Carranza’s carnage carried the glory for Master Paints Black, who edged past Diamond Paints by a narrow margin of 7-6 in the second match of the day.

Ahmed Ali Tawana pumped in four goals and Hamza Ejaz and Lt Col Umar Minhas (R) converted one goal apiece for Diamond Paints but their efforts proved futile in the end.
Lahore Open Polo Championship 2018: Day 4
Master Paints Black dominated the match right from the word go as they fired in four fabulous goals to gain a healthy 4-0 lead. Diamond Paints made their presence felt just before the end of the first chukker by scoring a field goal to make it 4-1.
The only goal of the second chukker was also struck by Diamond Paints that helped them further reduce the margin to 4-2. Master Paints Black started the third chukker well by converting a 60-yard penalty to stretch their lead to 5-2 but Diamond Paints once again showed their class and converted two back-to-back goals to further reduce the deficit to 5-4.
The highly-charged fourth and last chukker saw both the sides matching fire-with-fire and then managed to score two goals each with Master Paints Black winning the thrilling encounter by a slight margin of 7-6.

Friday, 16th December Schedule
Two matches will be contested. The first match of the day will be played at 2:00 pm between Barry’s/DS Polo and Newage Cables/Master Paints And the second match of the day will take place at 3:00 pm between Diamond Paints and Master Paints Black here at the Lahore Polo Club ground.

Remounts dominated the second match of the day by outsmarting Platinum Homes with a good margin of 10-6, thanks to Raja Temur Nadeem for a fabulous five-goal contribution. The other key contributors from the winning side were Imran Shah and Sawar Naeem, who banged in a brace each while Major Haseeb Minhas (R) scored one goal.
From team Platinum Homes, Amirreza Behboudi though played excellent polo and smashed in all the six goals yet, his efforts proved futile in the end as his team had to face 6-10 defeat at the hands of Remounts. Jhon Fisher and Manuel Carranza supervised the match as field umpires.

Salam Polo and Newage Cables/Master Paints registered victories in the Lahore Open Polo Championship 2022 matches played at the Lahore Polo Club.
Match 1
The heroics of Raja Arslan Najeeb and Nicolas Ruiz Guinazu helped Salam Polo overwhelm Guard Rice by a huge margin of 8-2. Both the players – Nicolas Ruiz and Raja Arslan – were in superb form and contributed with four and three goals respectively in their team’s tally. Besides these two, Hashim Kamal also played a key role in his team’s triumph by converting a fantastic field goal.
On the other hand, the players of Guard Ric, especially Bilal Haye, who was playing in place of Saqib Khakwani, could pump in a brace while other players failed to contribute a single goal.

Newage Cables/Master Paints faced tough resistance from Master Paints Black before winning the nail-biting encounter of the day by 7-6, thanks to their hero Juan Cruz Greguol.
