PSA Professional Squash Association announced schedule for forthcoming PSA World Tour 2020.
The squash is set to restart with MO-Manchester Open 2020 after six months of suspension due to the corona virus pandemic. Other forthcoming events are: World Tour Finals, CIB Egyptian Open, Qatar Classic, EL Gouna International, Hong Kong Open and CIB Black Ball Open.
According to the announcement, MO 2020 will be held at Manchester National Squash Centre from 16th to 22nd September. During MO 2020 a total of 48 top ranked players will play against each other for prize amount of $ 140,000.
The event is organised by PSA Professional Squash Association in collaboration with Manchester City Council.
Important players to contest are Mohamed Elshorbagy, Ali Farag, Tayyab Aslam and Miguel Rodriguez for men’s singles category while Nouran Gohar, Nour El Sherbini and Camille Serme for women’s singles category.
The PSA Professional Squash Association is governing body for 200 tournaments every year for the men’s and women’s. PSA operates for squash just like ATP Association of Tennis Professionals and WTA Women’s Tennis Association operate for tennis.
