Formula 1 organisers announced that four more races have been included in the 2020 calendar, with which the total number of F 1 GP races to be held during the 2020 season increases to seventeen. The four new GP venues will be Turkey, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. Bahrain will host 2 races. The announcement was made by Chase Carey, Chairman and CEO of Formula 1.
The Chinese GP Grand Prix has been cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic. However a GP in Shanghai is being planned for 2021 season in association with Juss Sports.
