The spectators will not be allowed during the TGP Turkish Grand Prix 2020 which is set to commence on 13th November and conclude on 15th.
According to the details, the decision was announced by Istanbul Governor office due to the corona pandemic related recommendations of Istanbul Provincial Pandemic Council.
In addition, it was decided that all of the 100,000 tickets for TGP 2020 which were sold during September would be fully refunded.
Prior to 2011, the Formula One drivers Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen had won titles at Istanbul Park Track and are set to contest TGP 2020. None of the F1 Formula One GP was held in Turkey from 2012 to 2019 time span and F1 motor-sports will resume from forthcoming TGP 2020. However, the Round 5 of the World Rally Championship 2020 was held in Turkey few weeks ago.
Hamilton is at the brink of levelling Michael Schumacher’s world record of 91 Grand Prix victories and is expected to do so during forthcoming Eifel GP, Portugese GP, Emilia Romagna GP or Turkish GP.
