The Vietnam Grand Prix Corporation announced cancellation of the VGP-Vietnam Grand Prix 2020 due to the corona pandemic.
Prior to cancellation of the first ever Grand Prix to be held in Vietnam, VGP was to be held in Hanoi city in April, but was rescheduled for November due to COVID-19 crisis.
Accordingly, to the revised schedule during 2020 FI season, 17 races will be conducted, which do not include any races in Vietnam and China.
In terms of driver performance, Lewis Hamilton driving Mercedes remains in lead with 7 wins of the 11 GPs held so far.
