Max Emilian Verstappen driving Honda won the Silverstone’s 70th Anniversary Grand Prix. The 22 years old Belgian defeated Hamilton with 6 points lead for the 1st slot.
Valtteri Bottas (Finland), Charles Leclerc (Monaco) and Alexander Albon (Thailand-England) scored 15, 12 and 10 points respectively to secure the 3rd, 4th and 5th positions.
In the past, the major achievements of Verstappen are:
1- He is the youngest F1 driver to compete for The Australian Grand Prix in 2015 at an age of just 17.5 years.
2- He won the Spanish Grand Prix in 2016.
3- He was at the 3rd position with 278 points in World F1 Drivers Ranking 2019.
The performance of the world number one F1 driver Hamilton were not as expected during this race. Few days ago Hamilton won the British Grand Prix 2020 with 25 points on the same Silverstone Track despite the fact that one Tyre of his Mercedes was punctured almost 30 seconds before the finish time.
