Turkey will host the Round 5 of the WRC World Rally Championship 2020 from 18th to 20th September. The event is also called Rally Turkey 2020.
The rally route will pass through the towns of Datca, Marmaris and Ula in the Mugla province, southwest of Turkey.
The event will be held without fans along the route due to the corona virus pandemics.
Important drivers are Sebastien Ogier, Elfyn Evans, Sebastien Loeb and Yaqiz Avci.
In the past Sebastien Ogier driving Toyota for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Team had won 6 WRC titles. He is at top of the current drivers ranking having 79 points.
Elfyn Evans had scored 70 points for Toyota Gazoo Racing Team while Ott Tanak had won 66 points for Hyundai Motorsports.
Sebastien Loeb with a record 9 WRC titles will rejoin the rally for Hyundai Motorsports.
