The testing for Round 5 of the WRC World Rally Championship 2020 commenced with the shakedown stage in Mugla. The event is also called Rally Turkey 2020.
The participants for the testing session were 130 drivers from 19 countries.
The cars were raced and tested on 4.7 km track in Mugla Province.
A limited number of the local and foreign spectators were allowed to enjoy the shakedown stage and take photographs.
The route for Day 1 of WRC is considered to be one of the toughest in southwestern Turkish province Mugla.
The main route for Round 5 of the WRC World Rally Championship 2020 from 18th to 20th September will pass through the towns of Datca, Marmaris and Ula.
The WRC is organized every year by the motorsport governing body FIA.
