National Open Rugby trial camps have been initiated by Pakistan Rugby Union to select a strong team for the Asian Rugby Championship which will be played during November 2017 at Laos. Theparticipating teams include Laos, Guam and Indonesia along with Pakistan.
The first trial camp was held at Lodhran where 30 players from Multan, Muzafarghhar, Lodhran, Vehari and Dunyapur participated.
According to the Head coach, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Malik the second camp will be at Bhawalnagar where 23 participants from Haroon Abad, Fort Abbas, Khichiwala, Rafiq Abad and Marwat will participate.
