Harden, LeBron and Giannis all came through for their respective sides as conference leaders thrashed the competition to cement their top position in the latest matches in the 2020 NBA – National Basketball Association Season.
Houston Rockets trounced Charlotte Hornets 125-110 as James Harden registered 40 points along with 9 rebounds and 12 assists to lead his side to a comfortable home victory. He was supported by Danuel House’s 22 and Eric Gordon’s 16 points.
Milwaukee Bucks breezed through to their 43rd season victory downing New Orleans Pelicans 120-108 as Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered with 34 points and 17 rebounds. Khris Middleton added 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists in the win.
Pelicans’ sensation Zion Williamson struggled to perform and finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds only as Brandon Ingram dropped 32 points to the loss.
Western Conference’s leaders Los Angeles Lakers cemented their position at the top rallying for 42 points against San Antonio Spurs in the fourth quarter as LeBron James scored five three-pointers in quick succession within four minutes. Lakers finished game 129-102 thanks to James’ 36 and 18 each by Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma.
Star of the night James has also been awarded Player of the Month award for his key role in leading Lakers to straight victories in the first month of 2020.
