Pak vs Ind Davis Cup Tie ’19: ITF Announces Pakistan To Remain As Hosts
ITF – International Tennis Federation announced that for the upcoming Davis Cup tie between Pakistan and India the host country will remain to be Pakistan. And the rescheduled tie will be held during the week commencing 25th November in Islamabad.
The rescheduled Davis Cup tie between Pakistan and India was to be held during September 2019 in Islamabad, however, it was postponed after political tensions rose between the two countries after India annexed Occupied Kashmir.
The Manager, Mr. Nauman Durrani talking exclusively to Allsportspk stated that, “It is a realistic decision especially as there is no security issue.” He added that the postponement has been a good omen as the weather conditions in November are excellent.”
PTF – Pakistan Tennis Federation will confirm the exact dates during the 25th November Davis Cup week.
The ITF had said the decision was taken following an in-depth security review by independent security advisers.

The ITF has issued the following statement regarding the Asia/Oceania Group I tie between Pakistan and India:
“The Davis Cup Committee has determined that the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group I tie between Pakistan and India will be rescheduled for the week commencing 25 November in Islamabad. The Pakistan Tennis Federation has until 19 September to confirm the precise dates of the two-day tie.
“The ITF will continue to monitor the security situation in Pakistan with the host nation and our independent security advisors.”
