ZS Lions defeated Zacky Reapers in the Tower 21 Polo Super League only match played on Friday, at the Lahore Polo Club ground.
ZS Lions played well against Zacky Reapers and outsmarted them by 4-2½, thanks to Lt Col Omer Minhas for thrashing in two tremendous goals while the remaining one came from Zuraiz Shahzad. For Zacky Reapers, who had a half goal handicap advantage, Nazar Dean Ali Khan and Saif Noon converted one goal apiece.
The match began on a high note as ZS Lions fired in a field goal through Omer Minhas to gain 1-0 lead, which couldn’t last long as Zacky Reapers bounced back well by converting a 30-yard penalty to level the score at 1-1. The only goal of the second chukker was slammed in by Haseeb Minhas that provided ZS Lions 2-1 edge. They added one more goal in their tally in the third chukker, when Zuraiz converted a 30-yard penalty to strengthen their lead to 3-1. The fourth chukker saw both the teams scoring one goal each and ZS Lions emerging as winners by a margin of 4-2½.
