The count down of the much awaited clash between the arch rivals – Pakistan and India Polo teams began after both the teams reached Johannesburg, South Africa.
The play off encounters for one of the teams to qualify for the IIX FIP World Polo Championship 2022, will take place on 9th and 11th September.
Since arriving the Pakistan team has been settling down and climatizing itself. According to Allsportspk exclusive follow up the real activities starts on Wednesday, 7th September.
IIX FIP World Polo Championship 2022 Playoffs – Pakistan Team Announced
Mr. Bader Uz Zaman, the team manager mentioned to Allsportspk that the main and the most important activity would be the ‘Draw for selection of Horses’ at East Rand Polo Club at 9am SA Time-12pm PK Time. While explaining the Draw process, Mr Bader stated that “South Africa Polo Association will be providing 44 horses to both the teams of Pakistan and India. Out of which each team will be allocated 22 horses through the Chit drawing procedure.
The next function would be the Official Dinner planned in the evening for both the teams at Inanda Polo Club.
The real action starts from Thursday, 8th September when the Pakistan players start their practice sessions. During which besides getting accustomed to the on field playing conditions, the most important aspect will be making relationships with the horses who will be their main playing companions.
