Nearly five months since suffering injuries while fighting off a home invader, who had a knife, the two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova is back on the court. After the home invasion, Kvitova wasn’t sure if you would ever be returning back to play tennis again, and if yes, when ? But last month, she revealed that she had entered in to French draw to keep it open as a possibility.
On Tuesday, Kvitova posted a photo of her on twitter, training in Monte Carlo, with the message, “Hello guys I hope this picture makes you as happy as it makes me! I am in Monaco and guess what? I’m back on the tennis court, hitting with some proper balls and reunited with my dear friend Wilson tennis racquet.”
