Highlights:
- Arsenal players showed excellent form on the field, whether it be passing or keeping possession of the ball. Arsenal dominated it all.
- Southhampton gave tough time to Arsenal in the 1st half however, Danny Welbeck’s double strike in the 2nd half gave Arsenal the lead.
- A counter goal was scored by Southhampton but after that there was no signs of improvement as Arsenal won the match comfortably.
- Both team players were awarded Red cards by the referee in the extra time as Arsenal looked to defend and Southhampton looked to attack in the extra time.

Highlights:
- It was a close match between Chelsea and West Ham as neither side allowed the other to win.
- Although, 60% ball possession was maintained by Chelsea, West Ham showed composure and grit to deny Chelsea a winning goal.
- Chelsea dominated the 1st half and most of 2nd half too but a goal from Javier at the 73rd minute ensured that West Ham draw the match.
- West Ham could have won the match if they had tried more shots at the goal, meanwhile Chelsea could have won if they took their shots more on target.
