Single’s: Marin Cilic vs Gilles Muller
Result: Marin Cilic defeated Gilles Muller by 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Highlights:
- Although, Marin Cilic lost the first set against Gilles Muller but he managed to win the next sets in a row.
- It was a worth-watching match as Marin Cilic and Gilles Muller both made a total of 19 and 17 aces respectively.
- The first set started and Marin Cilic opened the scoring with a brilliant ace.

- However, Marin Cilic failed to extend his lead as Gilles Muller not only recovered the points after some time instead he took the lead upfront.
- At last, Marin Cilic faced defeat in the first set by 4-6 as Gilles Muller did not let him to gain the last two points first.
- The match moved on to the second set and again Marin Cilic took the lead this time.
- Although, Gilles Muller tried his best to chase the lead but he only managed to recover three points.

- Marin Cilic eventually won the second set and the match came to the third and decisive set.
- Marin again opened the scoring of the third set as Gilles Muller failed to took the lead on his serve.
- Marin Cilic played brilliantly throughout the whole set while on the other hand, Gilles Muller got into pressure as he was trailing behind.
Marin Cilic loses just *five* service points in the last two sets to beat Gilles Muller 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 and reach the QFs in London for the 6th time in 12 years.
Muller will likely leave the top 60 with QFs to defend at Wimbledon.

- At last, Marin Cilic sealed the victory in the decisive set again by 6-3 and booked his name into the next round.
- Marin Cilic will now face Sam Querrey in the Quarter finals.

Double’s: Lleyton Hewitt and Nick Kyrgios vs Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut
Result: Lleyton Hewitt and Nick Kyrgios defeated Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in Queen’s Club Championships 2018 by 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.
Highlights:
- Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut took a great start as they opened the scoring of the first set.
- However, they both failed to extend their lead large enough.

- In the end, Nick Kyrgios and Lleyton Hewitt managed to win the set by 6-4 as Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut both lost a point on their serve.
- In the second set, Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert again took the lead but this time they extended it at a very fast pace.
- Nick Kyrgios and Lleyton Hewitt struggled hard to recover the lead but they failed to do so.

Queen’s Club Championships 2018 Highlights: Day 5 – 1st Half
- Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert eventually won the second set and the match moved on to the third and decisive set.
- This time Nick Kyrgios and Lleyton Hewitt opened the scoring of the third set and looked quite confident.
- Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert suddenly started scoring as they were trailing behind 4 points.

- But unfortunately, they still failed to won the last set and didn’t make it to the next round.
- Nick Kyrgios and Lleyton Hewitt booked their place into the Quarter finals where they will face Kyle Edmund and Neal Skupski.

Double’s: Wesley Koolhof and Marcus Daniell vs Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka
Result: Wesley Koolhof and Marcus Daniell defeated Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka by 6-4, 7-6(2).
Highlights:
- Wesley Koolhof and Marcus Daniell opened the scoring of the first set and were enlarging it at a very swift pace.
- Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka managed to recover only two points after their lead as their opponents did not let them recover more.

- After a tough battle between the two pairs, Wesley Koolhof and Marcus Daniell successfully sealed their win in the first set by 6-4 as they score the last two points on an ace.
- The match then moved on to the second set which was a more important one for Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka as they would be out of the tournament if they lost this time.
- The second set started and this time Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka took the lead.
