Breaking: Rafael Nadal Regains World No.1 Spot
Rafael Nadal replaced Roger Federer and regained the world no.1 spot, after he defeated Alexander Zverev in the final of Italian Open 2018.
Nadal was depressed after he lost in the quarterfinals of the Madrid Open 2018 to Dominic Thiem. He had a winning streak of 50 successive sets on clay but Dominic ended that after he won from him.
This not only cost Spaniard the Madrid Open but he also lost the world no.1 ranking and came behind Roger Federer.
However, after winning the Italian Open 2018, he has regained his World No.1 rank in Men’s Tennis Rankings.
