Portuguese star footballer and Real Madrid’s forward Cristiano Ronaldo has broken yet another record for most goals scored in Europe’s top five leagues consisting of La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Premier League.
Ronaldo accomplished the feat in the 10th minute of the game on Wednesday, that ended in Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Celta Vigo, when he latched onto the ball at the top of the box, took a touch and hit an unstoppable left-footed shot to eclipse former AC Milan, Tottenham and Chelsea striker Jimmy Greaves’ previous record of 366.
He added another goal in the second half, firing a pinpoint left-footed finish off the inside of the post after receiving a through ball from Isco on the counter-attack.
The four-time World Player of the Year has scored 284 goals in 264 league games for Real, while adding a further 84 goals in 196 matches for Manchester United.
