PSA announced that Squash is one of 30 sports which have been included in the first Junior Pan American Games 2021.
The 2021 Junior Pan American Games will be held in Cali a Colombian city, from 5th – 20th June.
The participants include all 41 Panam Sports member nations and more than 4,000 athletes.
The full programme as announced by the Panam Sports Executive Committee, includes 45 disciplines. Further, it was decided that all gold medallists in individual sports will automatically qualify for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games. And as to, the gold medallists in the majority of the Team Sports will obtain a quota for their respective countries to the Games in Chile.
The age criteria for each sport will be decided and announced in the coming weeks. But it has been confirmed that the maximum age for any of the sports will be below 23-years-old and will differ according to each discipline.
