Table Tennis Ranking: Fan Zhendong Re-claims No.1 Position
Fan Zhendong, who represents China as a professional table tennis player was ranked number 2 in the official ITTF world rankings. But he raked enough points form the Qatar Open that was held last month to claim the No.1 ranking worldwide.
Zhendong termed it as an amazing feeling and a dream come true as the table tennis player took over the former global number 1 Timo Bell to top the rankings.
What’s amazing is the 21-year-old tennis player had been maintaining his second position in the world wide rankings since 2015. This was the first time that he topped the charts and became number 1 on the charts; a proud effort on his part.
