Murray strived and was dominated by a forceful and active opponent, losing by a convincing margin score of 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.
In the Round 1 match Andy Murray already had to battle against 21st seeded Nikoloz Basilashvili, for five sets with the score 6-1 3-6 6-4 6-7(5) 6-4.
Emma had won her first round match in a rattled manner by defeating Sloane Stephens 6-0 2-6 6-1.
