Pakistan will face Austria in the Davis Cup World Group 1 tie, to be held at the Sportland Arena in Tulln an der Donau, Austria, on the 16th and 17th of September 2022.
The Pakistan team has been training at the clay courts of the PTF-SDA Complex in Islamabad since 22nd August. For the tie which are to be held on red clay courts, the Pakistan team will reach Austria few days before on 10th September and acclimatize to the playing conditions.
Pakistan team: Captain-Aisam ul Haq Qureshi, Aqeel Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Muzammil Murtaza and Muhammad Abid.
Austrian team: Jurgen Melzer and players Jurij Rodionov, Filip Misolic, Gerald Melzer, Lucas Miedler and Alexander Erler.
