The US Open entered in the phase of the players entering the QF-Quarter Final stage.
Naomi Osaka the two-time Grand Slam winner was one of the first to book a QF berth by convincingly defeating Anett Kontaveit of Estonia in straight-sets.
The match played without any spectators or fans played at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Flushing Meadows lasted for 1hour and 12 minutes. The match score of 6-3, 6-4 evidences that the fourth seed Naomi had no problem in over powering Anett who is 14th seed.
Naomi Osaka will now play Shelby Rogers to qualify for the semi-finals. The 27 years-old American caused an upset by defeating the sixth seed Petra Kvitova.
