Four years back, an Irishman with a fantasy appeared in the UFC. In that match, he won by knockout in the first round and earned his first “Knockout of the Night” grant.
This present man’s name is Conor McGregor and uptill now, this man has achieved almost everything in this sport. From his holding two belts in different categories to making a record of the fastest knockout(13 seconds) against Jose Aldo, McGregor is a true legend amongst the greatest UFC fighters.
His popularity grew so much that he called out the undefeated Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. And, although he eventually lost the bout, Conor turned into a world superstar, while also earning millions from the fight.
His recent indiscretions have forced him to stay out of the UFC for a long time, however, a return is imminent this year against Khabib Nurmagomedov who is the current UFC Lightweight Champion.
At present, Conor McGregor has won 21 out of his 24 fights with a total of 18 knockouts. This stat alone makes him one of the elite UFC fighters of the 21st century.
