Joshua Castellano wins the best-of-five final of 2024 North American Scrabble Championship hosted at South Bend, Indiana. The two scrabble mastros – Pakistan’s Waseem Khatri and USA’s Joshua Castellano displayed their skills through out the five day event by occupying and switching the top slot between themselves.

On the final day depite Waseem maintaining his skills and scoring some wins, the luck seemed to be shinning upon Joshua.

The five day event was an engaging minds competition moreover between Pakistan and American scrabblers. With fluctuating fortunes the main three slots mostly rotated between USA’s Joshua, Alec and Pakistan star Waseem Khatri.

2024 North American Scrabble Championship: Day 4 | Joshua Maintains No. 1 Slot ; Waseem Follows

The 2024 North American Scrabble Championship (also known as Scrabble Players Championship) is being held from 20th till 24th July, 2024 at the Century Center, South Bend, Indiana. Held every 1-3 years since 1978 it is the largest Scrabble championship in North America.

The day 4 remained a test of nerves for three scrabbler minds – Joshua, Waseem and Alec. The gainer was Pakistan’s Waseem who after occupying the No 1 position for first two days slide to 3rd position and regained a level and moved to 2nd position. During next few hours the Day 5 will determine the 2024 American scrabble mind.

2024 North American Scrabble C’ship: Day 3 | USA’s Joshua Moves to Slot 1; Pak’s Waseem Slides To Slot 3

The 2024 North American Scrabble Championship (also known as Scrabble Players Championship) is being held from 20th till 24th July, 2024 at the Century Center, South Bend, Indiana. Held every 1-3 years since 1978 it is the largest Scrabble championship in North America.

USA’s Joshua Castellano on Day 3 moved up from 5th position to occupy the No. 1 slot which was being held for two consecutive days by Pakistan’s Waseem Khatri who dropped down to the 3rd slot. Alec Sjoholm also from USA maintained his 2nd slot position. The complete Day 3 ranking table is as follows:
