The Italian National Women’s Team qualified for Semi Final of the CEV U17 European Volleyball Championship 2020 by winning 4 of its 5 matches in Pool I.
In the last match day of Pool I action at Verde sports complex, Italy defeated Bulgaria 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 25-17) in Podgorica, Montenegro.
In the next stage, Italy will contest the Semi Final against Russia on 8th October which is the latest defending champion of the event that commenced on 1st October and will culminate on 9th October 2020.
The event is held biannually by the European Volleyball Confederation which is the volleyball federation for Europe. CEV commenced in 1997 for girls under the age of 17 years.
