PCB Pakistan Cricket Board and CWI Cricket West Indies announced that the West Indies Men’s cricket team will visit in 2023 to play three T20I Twenty20 Internationals.
The West Indies was during December 2021 touring Pakistan for T20 and ODI series. However, after 3 T20l matches the tour was cancelled as nine members of the West Indies team had tested Covid-19 positive, since arriving in Karachi. As to the played T20l’s, all three had been whitewashed by the Green shirts.
Due to the unexpected situation, it was decided by both the Countries cricket boards to postpone and reschedule the cancelled ODI One-day International’s till June 2022. It maybe noted that these will also be part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League ODIs.
